Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Academy of Technical Education(JSSATE) is an educational institute situated in Noid Uttar Pradesh affiliated to Abdul Kalam Technical Universit, Gautam Buddha Naga. The institute was inaugurated by former president of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in 1998. The Institute was founded by JSS Mahavidyapeeth of Sri Suttur Veerashimhasana Math, Suttur. Till the year 2000, the institute was affiliated with Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Universit, Agra. Then, when Uttar Pradesh Technical University was formed in 2001, the college came under its jurisdiction. When in 2010, the university was bifurcated, the college came under the jurisdiction of the present university. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Official Newsletter- JSS CommuniqueEdit

The official newsletter of the college, 'JSS COMMUNIQUE', was launched in February, 2014. The newsletter is published under the purview of the Department of English with a Student Editorial Board at its helm. The newsletter encapsulates ongoing events- seminars, conferences, collaborations, projects, fests et al. and provides a platform for students and faculty members to share their knowledge, ideas and exkperiences.^[4]

SportsEdit

The college has a sports association named Sports Association of JSS (SAJ). The college organizes a sports week annually which includes games and sports like cricket, table tennis, badminton, football, basketball, volleyball, arm-wrestling, chess, carrom, tug of war etc. The college also has a table tennis football, a basketball and a cricket team which take part in various inter-college events. It has two indoor badminton courts, a basketball court, football field, volleyball court, table tennis and other facilities.

ZEALICONEdit

The Annual Techno-Cultural Festival at JSSATE is known as ZEALICON.^[5] It is being organized annually since 2008. Technical and cultural events are organized, including coding, robotics, airshows, debate, paper presentation, dance, singing, war of the bands etc.

Zealicon is 4 day event organised every year in the month of march. It is an all day technical and all night cultural event. The main attractions of the event are War Of The Bands, Robo Wars, Coderz and Multiplayer Gaming.

JSS STEPEdit

The Science & Technology Entrepreneurs Park is a registered society under the Society Registration Act, 1860. It provides value added programmes and services for the students, unemployed youth, working professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs in the National Capital Region. It is one of only 17 such centres in India.^[6]

The college has international linkages with foreign universities and various other organizations. A Product Life Cycle Management Competency Centre in collaboration with Ministry of National Education, Govt. of France and DassaultSystemes, France has been established to train students in advanced manufacturing technologies. An Advanced Welding Center, being developed with the collaboration of Finland, is under construction. The centre, when ready, will impart knowledge of the advanced techniques used in the industry in the field of welding to the students. .^[7]

JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE), Mauritius is the first engineering college in Mauritius.^{[citation needed]} The college is managed by the JSS Education Foundation Pvt. Ltd. Mysore, India, which runs under the aegis of JSS Mahavidyapeetha. The college is located in a campus of 8 acres (32,000 m2) at Avenunath Ramphul, Bonne Terre, Vocoas, Mauritius and aims to be the centre of excellence in technical education in Indian Ocean.
